You Belong To Her

You belong to her
Even though you creep
Into my thoughts
In daylight
And into my dreams
In starlight
You belong to her

The epitome of my ideal man, yet
You belong to her
We see eye to eye
Fit like fingers in a glove
But,
You belong to her

To feel your gentle touch
Your body close to mine
You leave me
Wet with desire
Because,
You belong to her

You call me a Renaissance Woman
And maybe I am your ideal too,
But,
We will never know because
You’ll never let go
Of her
For me
Because
You belong to her.
